Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission – Tie-Breaking Criteria
- If two or more students have equal marks in class 10, their inter-se merit will be decided, and students with higher Math marks will be chosen for Kendriya Vidyalaya admission 2023.
- If there is a tie, math and science scores will be considered after the older candidate has been given preference.
- If their math and science scores are the same, the older student will be preferred for KVS admission 2023-24.
- If seats remain vacant after admitting KV students, KV admissions can be granted to non-KV children using the above-mentioned priority category system.

- If the class 10 or 12 strength in any KV is less than 40, the Deputy Commissioner of the Region will open class 10th and 12th KV admission 2023 based on seat availability. These admissions will be granted subject to the following conditions:
- The child must be enrolled in a CBSE-accredited school.
- A student seeking Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2023 in class 10 or 12, must have obtained an aggregate of 55% in class 9 or 11 exams.

- At each Kendriya Vidyalaya, a committee is formed to oversee the system of lotteries. This system is used for KVS admissions in classes 1 and 2.
